PTCL Business DSL Premium Packages

Now a days this a very hot topic among the WISP owner,"Is PTCL offering any business premium packege?"

There are mixed answers,some people say "yeah" and some say "no" even some PTCL's Customer relation officers do not exactly know about it.So I decided to get the right answer for this Crazy question.
I found on the internet and got the same results as i mentioned above,so i decided to get info from PTCL's senior officers and i got an E-mail from them which is I'm gonna share with you.

but i m still not confirmed whether can we share it or not.On my request,he did not mention it in mail.

Howto increase PTCL EVO/Nitro/Cloud Signals and Speed

PTCL is the most leading company in Broadband services in Pakistan and now it is also leading in wireless broadband service....It is the tradition of PTCL not to provide quality services to its customers that's why people always find ways to hack or get its services in a better way as its complaint management system is very poor.They do not listen to their customer's complaints.

Today,the most common issue with the EVO/Nitro and cloud users is the speed issue.They do not get  the speed they are paying for.Actually Ptcl has only one or two towers in a city serving the EVO/Nitro customers.And a single tower is not enough to cover the whole city that's why people do not get desired results.

Now a days an EVO customer gets an average speed of 1-1.50 Mbps while he pays for 3.0 Mbps.
Why this happens?Let me explain wireless internet depends on various factors which i have explained in my other post.

Today we will learn how to get Good signals and good speed too.
I have tried various methods to make its signal more powerful.Here i will discuss only successful tries.

Experiencing Slow Browsing on PTCL Broadband connection?Get a solution

Hi guys....In my last post i told you how to secure your small wifi business....
In this post i will tell you to increase your browsing speed,Mostly people have 4 Mbps packege they enjoy good download speed but have poor browsing speed.Actually browsing depends on DNS servers.Ptcl uses an open DNS server,when too much people uses the same server at a time we lack browsing speed...so i gonna suggest you to use google DNS servers which are high speed as well as good servers...
you should also search for latest google DNS servers...A present latest google DNS server is primary 8.8.8.8 and secondary 8.8.4.4....
An other question arises that where to use these settings?
I will give you the answer.
Goto control panel>Network connections>Lan card>properties>TCP/IP>Click on use the following DNS server address.
(in case of windows 7 put these addressess in TCP/IPv4 )

use these servers and enjoy good browsing speed.

and you are done.....
Now your videos will open in html player not in java or any other.....
But this trick only works for video having no ads...if a video has an ad on it this trick wont work....

what will you say if i tell you a trick to download torrents directly using Internet Download Manager?
I found this trick very helpful so i am gonna share with you.

First of all goto http://www.torcache.net/ and upload your torrent file and click on CACHE
this website will give you a link
              copy it

now goto http://www.torrific.com/ and paste this link into it
and click GET
 

then click bittorent transmission
(you need to be signup for free)

 click on the blue links
 you will see IDM popping out.....now download it and enjoy high speed download....

Convert Your Windows 7 Laptop into a Wireless router without any installation or device....

Hi guys in my last post i told you how to Browse internet without a wireless router or access point.

Some time we are out of station and have no wireless connection but have a wired connection and we want to connect our mobile with the internet.At that time we miss TP-Link's 3g routers.But dont worry you know you are at Wifitech's Platform where nothing impossible
.As you noticed that we need to install a software in my last tutorial  but in this tutorial i will show you how to Convert Your Windows 7 Laptop into a Wireless router without any installation.

First you should make sure that you meet the following requirements:
1:The computer is getting internet from a LAN cable/connection.
2:The computer/Laptop has a WLAN adapter
3:Windows 7 is installed and running on the computer.
4:Java is installed on the computer.

Now follow these simple steps to get your internet wirelessly.


1:Open the website www.virtualaccesspoint.com from your computer connected to the internet through wire or 3G usb.And click on Run Button when asked,Type the SSID and security key with a minimum length of 8 characters and click "Turn on Soft AP" Button.

(If you have not installed Java then click here)
2:After clicking on "Turn on Soft AP" Button ,you will see a pop-up prompting you to run turnonvp.bat file.
Click on "yes" A command prompt will appear and few commands will run.after that press any key to exit.

3:An extra WLAN card will appear in network connections which is virtual wlan card.....this is the LAN card which you have created.

4:Now Goto Control panel>Network sharing centre>change adapter settings.Right click on local area connection and select its Properties.Goto sharing tab and click "allow other network users to connect through this computer's internet connection".Now in "Home networking connection" select "wireless network connection 2"Click apply and ok

Now you are done....Connect your mobile or other laptop and enjoy  internet without wires......
